Day 3 - Erie, PA to South Bend, IN

What a beautiful day!! We awoke to gorgeous weather, well rested and ready to go. Our first stop was short 1.5 hour drive to Cleveland, OH, where we celebrated Earth Day in style at the Metroparks Zoo! The temperature was an ideal 72º, the animals were happy, and Miya was in kiddo heaven. Check out these smiles!

Happy Earth Day!!

Then we made our way across the rest of Ohio...saw lots of farms...woo hoo. Once in Indiana, we stopped again at Pokagon State Park.

A little too much stretching of legs...Miya fell down and scraped her knee.

Then, back into the car with only 80 miles to our next stop in South Bend, IN! Unfortunately, we've discovered that Miya is prone to car sickness, so we had to make an unexpected stop on the side of the interstate for some "clean up" duty. No more movies in the car, I guess! Luckily, she bounced right back with a few guessing games and we made the rest of the trip!


This is where you should eat if you're ever in South Bend!! Looks like a dive, but es muy authentico! Mmmmmmmmmm.
